Mexican Ironwood is one of my favorite woods to make cross necklaces from. It is the hardest wood to work with but finishes like a semi precious stone. Each cross is uniquely carved, sanded, and polished. They are finished by buffing with a carnuba wax. This gives them a glossy finish as if they were lacquered. No two necklaces look alike.
Comes with 1 mm leather necklace and tied with a fisherman's knot. This allows for a lot of adjustment to suite both higher and lower hanging lengths. Cross is roughly 1 1/2” in length. Not recommended to get necklace wet as it will alter the finish of the wood and leather.
