I believe this is a variety of purple heart wood. The wood has a burgundy red hue and polished like stone. This series of crosses are a small batch made from set of recycled wood turned goblets. Each cross is uniquely carved, sanded, and polished. They are finished by buffing with a carnuba wax. This gives them a glossy finish as if they were lacquered. No two necklaces look alike.
Comes with 1 mm leather necklace and tied with a fisherman's knot. This allows for a lot of adjustment to suite both higher and lower hanging lengths. Cross is roughly 1 3/4” in length. Not recommended to get necklace wet as it will alter the finish of the wood and leather.
